User Agreement Android
1 Acceptance and Scope
This User Agreement governs your download, installation, and use of the Scantora mobile application provided by Syntexsys. By installing or using the app, you automatically accept the current version of this User Agreement and the current Scantora Privacy Notice. Continued use of the app after an update to either document constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and discontinue use.
2 License Grant
Scantora is licensed, not sold. Syntexsys grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control for personal or internal organizational use as intended.
3 Restrictions
You may not copy, resell, lease, publish, redistribute, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works of Scantora except where applicable law expressly permits it. You may not bypass technical protections or use the app for unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
4 Your Content and Responsibilities
You are responsible for the codes, labels, comments, locations, and other information you choose to save in Scantora. You must have the rights and authority to store or transmit that data and must not use Scantora to store PHI or other regulated sensitive health data.
5 Privacy and Data Practices
Your use of Scantora is also subject to the Scantora Privacy Notice. The app may process device, usage, notification, transfer, and diagnostic data as described there. Location permission is used for on-device zone reminders only. Your geographic position and geo-zone coordinates are never transmitted to Syntexsys.
6 Availability, Updates, and Support
Scantora may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Some features depend on operating-system permissions, network access, and third-party services. Support requests may be sent to support@syntexsys.com.
7 Android Platform Terms
If you use the Android version of Scantora, you are responsible for complying with the terms that apply to your device, app store, and mobile platform. Certain functions may depend on Google Play services, Android system features, or device maker behavior outside Syntexsys control.
8 No Warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scantora is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. You assume the risk of using the app, including any risk related to availability, performance, compatibility, or data loss.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Syntexsys and its licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Scantora.
10 Termination
Your right to use Scantora ends automatically if you violate this User Agreement. Syntexsys may also suspend or terminate access to features or services when needed for security, legal compliance, or operational reasons.
